Old Wingville Farm is a small family farm run by the Johnson family outside of Baker City, Oregon. Our family are Grant, Kate, Lucas (5yr old), Amelia (3yr old), and Freya (1yr old). Our furry animal family consists of 15 Nubian goats , 2 labrador retrievers, and a barn cat.

Our goat milk is one of the sustainable ingredients we use in our soaps. Each night our mama goats are separated and then milked in our milking stall most mornings. The milk is then filtered, measured and stored in the freezer. We use the frozen goat's milk in the soap recipe. We freeze it so the lye doesn't burn the sugar in the milk at room temperature.

Ingredients in our soap are all sustainably and ethically sourced. All the recipes include the following bases: olive oil, palm oil, castor oil, shea butter, and coconut oil. The real fun begins when we change the recipes around to accommodate various infused oils with herbs and flowers that we've grown in the garden or that we've harvested locally. Some of our favorite infused oils are calendula, lavender, and rosehip.
